The PRINCE2 Practitioner is the follow-up training for PRINCE2 Foundation. In this course you will learn to put PRINCE2 project management to practice based on live case scenarios. The main focus of this training course lies on applying the PRINCE2 method and techniques, and the ability to analyse and solve problems by using good practices in complex project environments.

Knowledge of PRINCE2 at Foundation level is a prerequisite for the course. To take the exam, a PRINCE2 (5th, 6th edition or PRINCE2 7), IPMA project management, PMI or APM certificate is a prerequisite. Course details PRINCE2®7 Practitioner

The following topics are covered:

• principles of PRINCE2;
• practices: business case, organizing, risk, quality, issues, progress and plans;
• people: building successful teams, leadership in change and effective communication;
• processes: starting up a project, initiating a project, directing a project, controlling a stage, managing product delivery, managing a stage boundary and closing a project;
• applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to suit your own specific requirements;
• exam training, exam hints and tips and mock exams.

The price of this training is € 1.898. This includes the official PRINCE2 Practitioner exam (Proctor), our accredited courseware and the official, hard copy book, together a value of  € 638.

Moreover, you will enjoy a pleasant training facility with catering and affordable parking or easy access by public transportation. Catering consist of lunch, coffee, tea, water, soda, fruit and sweets. Lunch options such as vega(n) are available.

Required study hours and study method

Apart from the class hours, a total of approximately 32-40 hours of self-study are required for daily course preparation and exam preparation. You are facilitated by our detailed course materials and e-learning solution, and registered attendees can start their preparations before the course starts. The training course consists of presentations of the theory, interactive discussions and delegate exercises, as well as topics that are introduced by the attendees during the training course. These practical exercises will help you use PRINCE2 successfully. Theory is translated into practice. You can bring your own case studies to the course. The training is active and offers a variety in types of exercises such as interactively discussing theory, working on cases together in small groups, testing your knowledge in a pop quiz and role playing for realistic practicing.

You will receive:

• our accredited courseware including the presentation, a case with exercises in pdf;
• access to our e-learning with many mock exam questions, including Foundation refresher questions;
• the official, hard copy PRINCE2 manual: ‘PRINCE2®7 Managing Successful Projects.

Examination and certification

After attending this training course and some additional self-study you will be prepared for the official AXELOS PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. The exam is based on objective testing, with closed questions only. The exam is open book, you are allowed to use the official PRINCE2 manual only. The exam duration is 2,5 hours. It consists of 70 questions, each worth one mark. To pass you need at least 42 marks out of 70 available (60%).

Forsa Advies is an accredited provider and offers the official PeopleCert exam. You can take exam online at a time and place of your choice within one year. More info can be found on our proctor page on our website.

If you pass the exam you will receive the official, digital PRINCE2 Practitioner PeopleCert certificate. Next to this you will receive a digital attendance certificate if you have attended 75% or more of the course dates. Exams are provided with permission of PeopleCert. Certificates remain valid for 3 years.
