AWS Foundations

AWS Intro

De cursus AWS Foundations gaat van start met een algemeen overzicht van Cloud Computing en biedt een inzicht de globale structuur van de Amazon Web Service (AWS) cloud. Ook wordt hierbij ingegaan op het AWS pricing model en AWS billing.

Compute Services

Vervolgens komen de Compute Services in AWS aan de orde waaronder de Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) waarmee Virtual Machines in de cloud kunnen worden gemaakt en aangezet. Tevens wordt dan aandacht besteed aan Elastic Load Balancing, Serverless Computing en AWS Lambda.

Storage Services

Vervolgens worden Storage Services besproken waaronder de S3 Simple Storage Service, de Elastic Block Store (EBS) en het Elastic File System (EFS). Ook wordt dan de Relational Database Service besproken waarmee relational database in de AWS cloud kunnen worden gehost.

AWS Networking

Onderdeel van het programma van de cursus AWS Foundations is ook een overzicht van networking in de AWS cloud. Hierbij komen de mogelijkheden van de Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), VPN Connections, Amazon CloudFront CDN en de Route 53 DNS Service aan de orde.

AWS Security

Eveneens wordt ingegaan op AWS Security met het Shared Responsibility Model, AWS Identity en Access Management (IAM). AWS Data Encryption passeert ook de revue.

AWS Foundations exam

Tenslotte wordt aandacht besteed aan de voorbereiding op het AWS Foundations examen. Daarbij worden de vragen van diverse proefexamens behandeld en worden tips gegeven die kunnen helpen het examen te behalen.

Doelgroep Cursus AWS Foundations

De cursus AWS Foundations is bedoeld voor een ieder die Amazon Web Services wil leren kennen of zich wil voorbereiden op het AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner examen (CLF-C01).

Voorkennis Cursus AWS Foundations

Voor deze cursus is geen specifieke voorkennis vereist. Algemene IT kennis is wel wenselijk.

Uitvoering Training AWS Foundations

De services van AWS worden behandeld aan de hand van demo's. Tijdens de cursus worden demonstraties en uitleg met exercises afgewisseld.

Certificering Cursus AWS Foundations

De deelnemers ontvangen na succesvolle afronding van de cursus een certificaat van deelname aan AWS Foundations.
