AWS Administrator

Intro AWS Cloud

De cursus AWS Administrator gaat van start met een overzicht van de AWS Cloud met de globale Infrastructuur, de datacenters en availability zones. Ook wordt ingegaan op de kosten van de AWS Cloud, Billing en Budgets.

Identity Management

Vervolgens komt de configuratie van users, groups en roles in AWS aan de orde. Aandacht wordt ook besteed aan AWS Security zoals het gebruik van Multi-Factor Authentication en IAM Access Keys.

AWS Compute Services

Onderdeel van de cursus AWS Administrator is ook de bespreking van de Elastic Compute Cloud waarmee EC2 virtual server instances kunnen worden gelanceerd om applicaties in de AWS Cloud te draaien. Ook is er dan aandacht voor Load Balancing, AWS Lambda en Serverless Computing.

AWS Networking

Ook wordt ingegaan op networking in AWS waaronder het opzetten van een Virtual Private Cloud. Hierbij passeren ook network services zoals Amazon CloudFront CDN, Route 53 DNS Service en AWS Direct Connect de revue.

AWS Storage

Vervolgens komen de AWS faciliteiten om data op te slaan aan de orde zoals de S3 Simple Storage service, EBS Volume Types, Snapshots en het Elastic File System. En ook opslag in databases in de Cloud met de Relational Database Service worden besproken.

AWS Security

Dan is het tijd om in te gaan om AWS Security met het Shared Responsibility Model, AWS Identity Management en AWS Access Management. Data Encryption en Key Management worden eveneens behandeld.

AWS Monitoring

Het monitoren van applicaties in de AWS Cloud wordt besproken aan de hand van de AWS CloudWatch en AWS CloudTrail Services en er wordt aandacht besteed aan Resource Optimization en Performance Tuning in AWS.

Examen Voorbereiding

Tenslotte leren de deelnemers hoe ze zich kunnen voorbereiden op het AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate examen (SOA-C02). Vragen van diverse proefexamens worden behandeld en tips worden gegeven die helpen het examen te behalen.

Voorkennis Cursus AWS Administrator

Ervaring met de inrichting van operating systemen en het beheer van applicaties is gewenst om aan deze cursus te kunnen deelnemen.

Uitvoering Training AWS Administrator

Het werken met AWS resources en services wordt uitgelegd aan de hand van demo's. Tijdens de cursus worden demos en exercises afgewisseld.
